Woman accused of stealing checks in Milford
MILFORD — A New Haven woman was arrested on Monday for allegedly stealing checks.

Police said the warrant stemmed from a June 24 incident in which Cannon allegedly stole checks from a Milford business and, with a male accomplice, attempted to cash one of the checks at Milford Bank, 1455 Boston Post Road.
Cannon was charged with third-degree forgery, sixth-degree larceny, interfering with an officer, and third-degree conspiracy to commit forgery. She was release on a promise to appear in court on Oct. 8.
