Stratford: Mini-golf fundraiser this weekend
STRATFORD — Here’s a fundraiser with a twist, and it’s happening Friday and Saturday at the Stratford Library.
The Stratford Library Board of Trustees will be pulling out their putters — and asking others to do the same — for a fundraiser for the library on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 9 and 10, when the library will be transformed into a golf course in miniature.
The 18-hole course will be open for adults on Friday evening from 6:30 to 9 p.m., including a night of food and fun for grown-ups. Tickets are $15 per person or $25 per person including drinks. On Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the course will be open for mini-golfers of all ages. Tickets are $5 per person or $20 per fivesome - ideal for families. Participants age 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult. A silent auction will also take place both days of the fundraiser.
Tickets are currently available at the Stratford Library Check-Out Desk at 2203 Main Street in Stratford or available for purchase online with PayPal: www.stratfordlibrary.org. For further information call the Library at 203-385-4166.
