New sign at Brookfield Craft Center to be dedicated
The newly restored sign on the side of the Brookfield Craft Center will be dedicated at a ceremony Thursday morning.
The sign, which is painted on the side of the historic mill building that was built around 1780, is part of the craft center’s two-and-a-half-acre campus in the Four Corners area of town.
Nearly $9,000 was raised to restore the sign and the work was done by local painter Dan McKee and contractor Steve Turco. Donors will be joined by the craft center’s Executive Director Howard Lasser and board President Mark Zerbe.
The ceremony will begin at 9:30 a.m. at 286 Whisconier Rd. For more information about the Brookfield Craft Center, visit www.brookfieldcraft.org.
