MONROE — A driver escaped a rollover relatively unscathed on Saturday night.

When first responders arrived, the car was flipped on its side in the brush off of Fan Hill Road, according to Monroe Volunteer Fire Department’s Facebook page.

The crash occurred shortly before 11 p.m. and just past Jockey Hollow Middle School and Fawn Hollow Elementary School.

The driver got out of the car by himself and did not report serious injuries, the fire department said.
