Downtown Stamford summer concert lineup announced

Get ready for a summer of music because the 2018 Stamford Downtown Concert lineup has been announced.

The lineup includes performers for both the Wednesday Night Live and Alive@Five Thursdays series at Columbus Park in downtown Stamford.

Alive@Five is produced in partnership with Reckson and BevMax and Morgan Stanley presents Wednesday Nite Live in partnership with City Carting and Recycling and Purdue Pharma.

Alive@Five kicks off Thursday. June 28 with Gavin DeGraw and closes with Neon Trees and also stars Sean Kingston/Sammy Adams, Gin Blossoms/Tonic/Vertical Horizon and Life House.

The concerts begin at 5 p.m. and run five Thursdays, June 18 - Aug. 2 (no concert July 5) You have to be over 21 be admitted to Alive@Five.

Thursday, June 28: Gavin DeGraw

Thursday, July 12: Sean Kingston and Sammy Adams.

Thursday, July 19: Gin Blossoms, Tonic and Vertical Horzizon.

Thursday, July 26: Lifehouse.

Thursday, Aug. 2: Neon Trees.

Concerts begin at 5 p.m.

The rules:

You must be 21 or older for admission.

Photo ID is required for admission (valid and current motor vehicle operator’s license, identity card issued by the state Department of Motor Vehicles, or a passport along with another form of photo ID with date of birth)

No re-entry. Once you leave the music venue, you may not re-enter on same ticket.

No entry through restaurant/bar/office back doors. Everyone must enter through single main entrance located on Main Street at Atlantic Street with multiple entry portals.

As is City of Stamford policy, police reserve the right to limit entry due to crowd control, regardless of whether or not a patron has a ticket.

July 11: Joe Jackson.

July 18: Felix Cavaliere and Gene Cornish’s Rascals.

July 25: Dennis DeYoung: The Music of STYX.

Aug. 1: Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue.
