Darien forecast: Sunny skies, but temps still on chilly side
It will be another sunny day in southwestern Connecticut, but the bright skies won't warm temperatures beyond the mid-50s range, according to the National Weather Service.
In addition to that daytime high temperature of about 55 degrees, there will be an east wind 10 to 18 mph.
Tonight will be mostly cloudy as the temperature drops to a low in the upper-30s. There is also a 20 percent chance of showers, the NWS says, and there will be an east wind 13 to 17 mph.
Tomorrow, there remains a slight chance of showers with cloudy skies and temperatures rising to a high in the mid-50s. There also will be a northeast wind 13 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.
Tomorrow night will be mostly cloudy, with a low temperature about 40 degrees.
On Wednesday, there is a 30 percent chance of showers after 3 p.m. Otherwise, skies will be partly sunny with a high temperature in the low-60s. Nighttime brings a slightly higher chance of precipitation -- 40 percent -- as temperatures register a low in the mid-40s.
Thursday, with a continued slight chance of showers, will see a high temperature about 30 degrees. Nighttime will be partly cloudy, with a low temperature about 40 degrees.
The outlook for Friday, according to the weather service, is sunny and temperatures ring to about 60 degrees.
