Once again, this day starts with patches of dense fog across southwestern Connecticut, the National Weather Service warns.

The fog is expected to start burning off after 10 a.m., with the daytime high temperature rising to the mid-70s as skies turn sunny this afternoon. There will be a southwest wind between 5 and 8 mph.

Tonight will be partly cloudy, with a low temperature around 53 degrees, and a west wind between 5 and 7 mph.

Tomorrow also is expected to be foggy early, but skies will later become sunny and the temperature will rise to the upper-60s. Nighttime will be mostly cloudy, with a low temperature around 50 degrees, the NWS says.

Saturday will be mostly cloudy, with a high temperature near 60 degrees. There is a chance of showers tomorrow night and the temperature will be in the mid-40s.

On Sunday, there remains a chance of showers under cloudy skies, according to the weather service. The high temperature is expected to be in the mid-50s.
