Darien forecast: A great late-summer weekend
This summer season continues to fade away in grand style.
Today -- and most of the coming week -- should be sunny and warm, with only very minor odds of precipitation, according to the National Weather Service.
Skies will be clear across southwestern Connecticut today, with the daytime high temperature rising to the upper-70s and a southwest wind 3 to 8 mph.
Tonight, there is a 20 percent chance of showers after 11 p.m. as clouds turn cloudy and the temperature dips to a low in the upper-60s.
Tomorrow, there remains a 20 percent chance of precipitation before 11 a.m. Morning clouds are expected to gradually clear and the sun will emerge as the temperature climbs to a high in the upper-70s.
Tomorrow night should be clear, with a low temperature in the mid-40s.
On Monday, skies will be sunny, with a high temperature about 70 degrees. Nighttime skies will be partly cloudy with a low temperature in the low-50s.
Tuesday should be mostly sunny, with a high temperature in the upper-70s. Tuesday night will be partly cloudy, with a low temperature in the mid-60s.
The outlook for Wednesday, according to the weather service, is sunny and temperatures about 80 degrees.
