The YWCA Darien/Norwalk is hosting its benefit, "Travel with Taste," at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 28, at Dolce Hotels and Resorts Norwalk, the event's co-sponsor, at 32 Weed Avenue, Norwalk. The event will feature a tasting of the area's best signature restaurants, live music by Tangled Vine and an wide selection of auction and raffle items.

Proceeds will support YW outreach programs including Job Search Support and Parent Awareness. The YW strives to help women achieve and retain sustainable employment with programs such as Job Search Support, that sharpen work readiness knowledge and skills for re-entering the workforce or shifting careers. The YW Parent Awareness program provides education to parents and children to encourage healthy, positive development of youth and families.

Auction items for the event include resort stays in Antigua, Barbados, St. Lucia, and Panama; summer camp at Camp Cody in New Hampshire; tickets to various entertainment and sporting events; spa and fitness gift certificates and portrait photography. Besides Dolce Hotels and Resorts Norwalk, other participating restaurants include Abello's, Center Street Public House, Dunville's Restaurant, The Ginger Man, Maplewood Senior Living and Washington Prime.
