Darien kept its grip on the No. 1 spot while the back half of the top 10 experienced a shake up in the latest Connecticut Coaches Top 10 Girls Lacrosse Poll.

The Wave (10-0), which has led the poll each week since the start of the season, earned three more wins last week and again took all 13 first-place votes. The rest of the top five also held steady.

The biggest mover this week was New Fairfield, which jumped three spots to No. 7 despite a loss to No. 2 New Canaan (9-2) on Saturday. The Rebels (8-1) also defeated Pomperaug and Newtown, which had been ranked No. 6.

Newtown subsequently dropped to No. 9.

Staples moved up one spot to No. 6, with Greenwiwhc holding at No. 8, and Cheshire falling one spot to No. 19 following a one-goal loss to Amity.
