17th Senior Games feature eight CT boys and girls lacrosse players

Eight Connecticut lacrosse players will be part of the action when the 17th All-America Senior Games are held Saturday at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.

The girls game will start at 6 p.m, with the boys game to follow at 8:30 p.m.

The Girls North roster features midfielder Kaleigh Harden (North Carolina) and attack Dillyn Patten (Cornell) of New Canaan, and midfielder Ceci Stein (Michigan) and goalie Shae Dolce (Boston College) of Darien.

The Boys North Roster features attack Matt Minicus (Loyola) of Darien, goalie Thomas Ricciardelli (Notre Dame) of New Canaan, and long stick middie Will Donovan (Notre Dame) and defenseman Charlie Johnson (Notre Dame) of Greenwich. Ricciardelli played for Taft, while Donovan and Johnson played for Brunswick.

Players for the Senior Games are chosen by Inside Lacrosse and a selection committee

Underclass tournaments will also be held during the weekend, with games starting Thursday and ending on Sunday. Connecticut will have teams in both the boys and girls Command and Highlight divisions.
