Celebrate Shelton, the organization which hosts Downtown Sounds Summer Concerts & Food Trucks, as well as the Holiday Community Tree Lighting, is hosting Food Trucks on the River on Friday, June 21, at Veteran\u2019s Memorial Park in downtown. Beginning at 4 p.m., there will be 20-plus food trucks, beer garden with Bad Sons Brewery & New England Brewing Company, handmade artisans and more. There will also be live music from Tracy Jo & The Toads. This event is free, but a $5 suggested contribution is encouraged to sustain Celebrate Shelton\u2019s efforts in the community. \u201cWe are excited to continue our efforts in bringing fun and free events to Downtown Shelton for all families to enjoy,\u201d Michael Skrtic and Nicole Heriot-Mikula, co-creators of Celebrate Shelton, were quoted as saying in a press release. Snickering Coyote, The Supreme Grill, M and M Steaks and The Spotted Dick Foodery. Food Trucks on the River is sponsored by TD Bank, Tuttle Insurance and Star 99.9.
