Think you’d make a good detective? Find out when the interactive murder mystery, “Killer Instincts,” unfolds at Curtain Call’s Dressing Room Theatre in Stamford, on Saturday, April 14.

The show will be presented by Steppin’ Out Entertainment, based in Trumbull. Steppin’ Out Entertainment has been writing original scripts and producing murder events around the country for nearly three decades.

Peter and Karen Randazzo, a husband and wife team, often share writing duties, while Karen serves as director and sometimes appears on stage. The interactive aspect of their shows kicks in between scenes, when audience members get to ask the actors questions.

As the story wraps up, audience members are put into teams to solve the mystery. There’s only one correct solution and the team that offers the most complete answer is awarded free tickets to upcoming Curtain Call productions.

In “Killer Instincts,” a “winery owner’s partnership deal may be in jeopardy, since the other party was murdered,” according to a news release. “Be respectful at the after-funeral function. Is anyone really sad? Maybe not, but crazy... yes,” the release said.

Seating is cabaret-style at this venue, which features a “Bring Your Own Everything dinner theatre format.” Doors open one hour before show time.
