CT firms make Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies
Stamford-based Solar-power firm Green Street Power Partners led all firms based in the Greenwich-Stamford-Darien corridor that made this year’s Inc. 5000 list of the country’s fastest-growing privately held companies.
Green Street, which serves businesses and nonprofits through the tri-state region and Massachusetts, ranked No. 620 overall, based on its 709 percent revenue growth from 2015 to 2018. It posted revenues last year of $29.6 million.
Stamford-based digital-media firm MediaCrossing placed second highest among Stamford, Greenwich and Darien firms and came in at No. 1,125 overall. It produced revenues of $17.3 million last year and three-year growth of 371 percent.
Next came Greenwich-based Avanti Systems at No. 1,858, Darien-based Perpetual at No. 2,001, Stamford-based The Lockwood Group at No. 2,596, Stamford-based The Junkluggers at No. 2,825, Stamford Technology Solutions at No. 3,085, Greenwich Medical Spa at No. 3,554 and Stamford-based Saffron Road Foods at No. 4,800.
Norwalk-based Potoo, which specializes in online market insights, led all Connecticut companies on this year’s Inc. 5000 list, coming in at No. 122., with three-year growth of 2,813 percent.
New Haven-based admissions consultancy InGenius Prep was the only other Connecticut company to place in the top 10 percent of companies on the Inc. 5000. It ranked No. 432 with three-year growth of 1,047 percent.
The Phoenix-based brand marketing consultancy Freestar topped the entire list with three-year growth of nearly 37,000 percent.
