King School is encouraging Darien residents to participate in a Field Hockey Clinic to benefit non-profit Feed My Starving Children on July 21. Coach Emily Prince will be present to teach participants Field Hockey skills and new techniques while working to benefit an incredible charity.
Feed My Starving Children is dedicated to ending child hunger worldwide through scientifically created MannaPack rice meals. King School is planning to pack over 100,000 meals as a community and 100% of the proceeds from the clinic are going towards that event. The cost of each player will feed one malnourished child for one and a half years.
The clinic is for girls in grades K-12 and is taking place from 1PM-4PM on July 21.
No experience is necessary/ King School’s field hockey team wants anyone to come out and support children in need around the world. Those who want to attend the event can register at https://www.kingschoolct.org/campus-life/summer-institute/sports-clinics.
