Darien Police have reported a man died after a fall from scaffolding in Darien Thursday morning.
Police and Post 53 medical personnel responded to a construction site at 131 Hollow Tree Ridge Road at 8 a.m. Thursday morning for an adult man who had fallen 20 feet from scaffolding.
First arriving officers and Post 53 personnel provided medical aid to the victim, who was immediately transported to Stamford Hospital. This agency was later notified that the victim was pronounced deceased shortly after arrival to the hospital.

As of the time of this release, the Darien Police have no reason to believe this is anything other than an unfortunate accident with no criminal element.
