A 50-inch flat screen television was reported stolen from an unoccupied residence on Leroy Avenue. Officers responded to the call at about 10:30 p.m. July 16, and learned that the complainants had just purchased the house and came by the check on it when they discovered that the TV had been stolen.

They had last been in the house on the day before and had met with a painter to give him a key to the home. However, the painter said that he had been unable to gain access to the house due a deadbolt. There were two other televisions left in the house at the time of the theft, but no other furniture was present.
