Darien Land Trust will be holding its annual spring trail clean-up on Saturday, April 13 from 11 to 1 p.m. at Selleck’s and Dunlap Woods. The clean-up will include repairing trails and spreading wood chips.
Attendees are encouraged to bring the family, a rake, a fork and, if possible, a wheelbarrow. Also, wear working gloves and working shoes.
Those attending should park at the end of Parklands Drive, off Old Kings Highway North (go past the new building.)
The Darien Land Trust says the clean up offers an opportunity to see the woods, the lake, and daffodils while improving the town’s nature preserves.
