Historical holiday: Darien Historical Society to host silhouettes, a soirée, and Santa

The halls are decked and it’s time to make merry and celebrate the season in historical style at the Darien Historical Society.

Santa and silhouettes

On Friday, Dec. 7, capture a precious moment with renowned silhouette artist Deborah O’Connor, who creates cherished family heirlooms freehand.

There are still a few appointments open. The cost is $30 (frame and mats available at extra cost.)
For more information, contact Museum Educator Sarah Lexow Keena at 203-984-1798.

A Bates Scofield Christmas tradition —  visit Santa by the colonial hearth from 2 to 4 p.m. Visits are free, but donations gratefully accepted.
