Noroton Heights Fire Department recently kicked off its annual Christmas tree sale. There is a wide selection of sizes and shapes, from three-foot ornamentals to 14-foot giant Balsams and Douglas Firs.
All proceeds of the sale benefit our department directly by providing funds for continuous training and updated equipment ensuring our continued dedication and service to our neighbors.
The sale is located in the McGuane Field parking lot behind the Noroton Heights Fire Station at 209 Noroton Avenue. Buyers can choose your tree, and fire department volunteers will cut it to desired length, wrap it and tie it to your car, or even deliver it at your convenience.
The tree sale runs from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 10 to 7 on Saturday and Sunday.
The Noroton Heights Fire Department is located at 209 Noroton Avenue in Darien and has been in continuous service since 1903. Its members are all volunteers, who dedicate their time and respond to help the Darien community in times of need. Their training and equipment helps keep the community safe, so the department is asking the community to help these firemen and women so they may continue helping you.
