Recently, kindergarten scientists and mathematicians as they learn to weigh, measure, and experiment with pumpkins.

The Hindley Spooktacular Book Fair where excitement and enthusiasm about new books and reading was contagious as kids walked around clutching their new treasures and classrooms delighted over the new additions to their libraries.

Holmes School does STEM outreach

As part of the STEM Outreach Program, Darien High School students came to the fourth and fifth grade classrooms at Holmes to facilitate hands-on experiments with real-world impact.  The fifth graders conducted experiments on how to contain oil from oil spills, and the fourth graders created safe wind structures.
