Darien girls lacrosse has four All-Americans, nine All-State players (slideshow)

The Darien girls lacrosse team had four players named to the All-American team after another terrific season for the program.

Senior co-captain Katie Ramsay, a midfielder who will play for the University of Southern California next year, led the group of All-Americans.

Middie Sarah Jaques, a sophomore, also earned an All-American nod alongside sisters Nicole and Ashley Humphrey. Nicole is a junior midfielder, and Ashley is a sophomore attacker

The Wave also had nine players receive All-State honors.

On attack, senior co-captain Christine Fiore and Ashley Humphrey received First Team honors, alongside a group of five middies which include Ramsay, senior captain Emma Jaques, Nicole Humphrey, Sarah Jaques, and juniors Katie Elders and Charlotte Wittstock.

Senior co-captain Kendall Wisinski, an attacker, was named to the All-State Second Team.
