Talk taxes, tolls and transportation at the library

Darien resident and long-time commuter advocate Jim Cameron explores Connecticut’s transportation crisis and possible solutions to our crowded trains and highways, higher fares and proposed service cuts on Wednesday, May 2 at 7 p.m. at Darien Library.

The author of the weekly newspaper column “Getting There,” Cameron served almost two decades on the Metro-North Commuter Council, drawing on a career in communications at NBC News and a fascination with trains. A member of the Darien RTM, Cameron is also Program Director and co-founder of Darien TV79, the town’s government television station.
