NEWSFLASH: Darien Public Schools to have early dismissal Wednesday

Darien Public Schools will be dismissing students early due to the weather forecast according to an email from the district.  All activities scheduled for this afternoon are cancelled or will be rescheduled for a later date. Please check the district website www.darienps.org for further updates.

The dismissal schedule is below:

  • Darien High School will dismiss at 10:30 a.m.

  • Middlesex Middle School will dismiss at 10:30 am (an earlier email from the district said 11 a.m. in error.)

  • Hindley, Royle and Tokeneke will dismiss at 11 a.m.

  • Holmes and Ox Ridge will dismiss at 11:30 a.m.

  • The Early Learning Program 8:30 a.m. start will dismiss at 10:00am/ Early Learning Program 9:30am start will be closed

The Darien Library is also closed Wednesday. A winter storm warning is in effect in Darien and the surrounding area from 6 a.m. Wednesday, March 21 through 6 a.m. Thursday, March 22.
