PHOTOS: Tokeneke Kids Care Club brings smiles to seniors

The Tokeneke Kids Care Club met on Feb. 12 to complete its service project, bringing smiles to seniors. Gina Blum, executive director of At Home In Darien, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping seniors stay connected to the community, spoke to over 50 children in kindergarten through fifth grade. The children then decorated and assembled Valentine’s Day care bags and made personal greeting cards to give to seniors. At Home In Darien coordinated distribution of the care bags to deserving seniors to help brighten their day.  At Home In Darien greatly appreciates the support of the Tokeneke Kids Care Club and the students who shared their friendship and helped spread happiness to senior citizens in the community.
