Darien police locate man after silver alert

On the evening of March 7 at approximately 8 p.m., a 51-year-old Darien man was reported missing to the Darien Police Department. As a result, a “Silver Alert” was issued through the Connecticut State Police Message Center in an attempt to locate him.
As the investigation continued into the early morning hours, Darien officers were able to make contact with the missing man at approximately 5 a.m. The “Silver Alert” was subsequently cancelled.
The incident is no longer under investigation.
