Ann M. Coughlin, a 55-year resident of Darien, died on Wednesday, May 21 surrounded by her family. Ann Marie O’Donnell was born on July 21, 1929 in Greenwich. She was the daughter of the late Patrick and Catherine (McBride) O’Donnell. She was a 1947 graduate of Greenwich High School. Mrs. Coughlin worked as a secretary at the Greenwich Town Hall. Mrs. Coughlin was active in the choir at St. Thomas More and St. John Church. She was also a member of the Norwalk Chorale. She was an excellent homemaker and her true passion centered around her family and music
She is survived by two children and their spouses, Cathy and Jeff Kozak of Norwalk; and Nancy and Todd Gunderson of Mt. Laurel, N.J. Mrs. Coughlin is also survived by four grandchildren, Emily and Sarah Kozak of New York, N.Y.; and Chris and Carly Gunderson of Mt. Laurel, N.J. She was predeceased by her husband, George, in 2006 and a daughter, Noreen Coughlin Berry, in 1997.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. John R. C. Church, 1986 Post Road, Darien on Friday, May 23. Burial was private.
