Blowouts don’t get much windier than this.

Darien kept in playoff contention at sixth in the FCIAC beating Brien McMahon 60-35 at home on Tuesday.

The blue and white improves to 12-5 overall and is 11-4 in the league.

McMahon drops to 2-15, 2-13.

The Wave led 22-9 after one quarter and 35-16 at the half.

Meg Marren had a game-high 28 points landing 10 from the floor and went 8-for-13 from the foul line, had 12 rebounds, two assists, four blocks.

Kendra Fitzpatrick scored 12 points, finding three three’s, had a rebound, two assists and one steal, Emily Stein scored eight points including hitting two threes, had three rebounds, seven assists, four steals, Erin Karczewski five points, two rebounds, four assists, five steals, Kate Bushell three points, five rebounds, two assists, six steals, two blocks, Kate Fiore four points, 2-for-4 from the line, two rebounds, one assist, two steals, Ali Aparicio one rebound, one steal, Claire Naughton three rebounds, Avery Maley one assist.
