Darien High boys and girls indoor track, competing in Class L scheduled for Saturday, could find they have a little more time for practice to make perfect.

The CIAC Indoor Track Committee is monitoring the situation in regards to the predicted storm and its impact on the meets scheduled for Friday and Saturday at the Floyd Little Athletic Center in New Haven, according to an email sent from the Darien High Athletic Director’s office today.

The email went on to say: “If it is necessary to postpone one or more of the meets, the rescheduling will be done sequentially.

“The first postponed meet will be rescheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, if there’s a second postponement it will go to 4:00 p.m. on Monday, and if there is a third postponement it will go to 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.”

An announcement will be made in regards to Friday’s Class LL meet no later then 7:00 a.m. on Friday.

Decisions on Saturday’s L and S meets will be posted no later than 4:00 p.m. on Friday. All decisions will be posted at the CIAC Tournament Central website
