Commercial lawnmower stolen from Thorndal Circle

A commercial lawnmower disappeared from the back of a pick-up truck parked at 1 Thorndal Cir. On Wednesday, Sept. 28.

The owner noticed his 48-inch Bobcat mower, valued at nearly $3,000, was missing from his 2008 Ford F-250 truck at 6:45 that morning. He had parked it the afternoon before with the tailgate closed, police said.

Two aluminum loading ramps valued at $250 were also stolen. Police said these ramps were not used to unload the mower, as there was not enough room in the parking area, which was beside a building.

The truck was also dragged from its parked position using an unknown method, police said, which was evident in skid marks that began where the tires were originally.
