First snow: Scenes around Darien Saturday

Darien Times photographer Kristen Riolo caught these images during the Saturday, Jan. 21, snowstorm. About five inches fell in Darien, the first signifigant snowfall since the Halloween nor'easter the last weekend of October. By this time last year, more than 60 inches of snow of snow had fallen since Christmas.
