Center for Hope offers support to grieving parents

To help parents cope with the grief of losing a child, the Center for Hope has started a new support group.

Led by Center for Hope clinician Carole Greenberg, RN, MS, LMFT, the group helps parents who have recently lost a child overcome feelings of isolation and provides a safe and supportive environment. It also allows parents to talk abut the things that they cannot discuss with others — from their anger, sadness and guilt to how to handle special occasions.

The group will meet every Monday at 5:45 for 10 weeks. Sessions will be held at the Center for Hope, 590 Post Road. An initial consultation is required before joining the group.
