Talented teens invited to show off at Darien Library

Darien Library is looking for a few good teens to step up for this season's installment of the Teen Library's talent competition: So You Think You Can Do Something?

On Saturday, Jan. 28, from 7-9, the library will host an after-hours talent competition featuring several bands and other acts from Darien High School. The competition is open to teens with any kind of demonstrable talent: singing, dancing, plate-spinning, you name it. Judges will award a $350 prize to the first-place finisher, and $150 for the runner-up. Those who are not interested in performing are encouraged to come cheer on their friends. There will be free food.
