Learn about reversing chronic diseases at the library this week

Roca, a medical doctor at Greenwich Hospital's Integrative Medicine Program, will discuss with library patrons underlying process that creates illnesses and the key changes people can make to begin the process of reversing such illnesses.

In addition, Roca will discuss ways that illnesses can be reversed, often with straightforward modifications to the way we live, like hormone balance, reducing inflammation, increasing stress resilience and enhancing detoxification.

The event is part of the Library's Winter Wellness health and wellness series, which will provide patrons with a variety of lectures, expert panels, workshops, film screening and fitness exercises designed to help get healthy, organized and active.
