A sea of blue at Darien schools raises awareness of autism

District-wide, all of Darien Public Schools and their personnel joined others across the globe in the Light It Up Blue for World Autism Awareness Day on Thursday, April 2.

On Friday April 10, the fifth grade class at Hindley School in Darien presented a check to Make-A-Wish Connecticut for $4,006.

Royle School jumps rope for heart

For the seventh year in a row, the Royle School community has come together to support the annual Jump Rope for Heart event, raising over $24,000 for the American Heart Association.
