Grace: 4th annual Wave football Lift-A-Thon March 8-9

On March 8-9 the Darien High School football team will be holding its 4th annual Lift-A-Thon in honor of Grace Wohlberg.

Lifting Grace will take place at Darien High School from 3 to 5:00 p.m.

Five years ago Grace Wohlberg, sister of football alumnus Michael Wohlberg, was diagnosed with Rasmussen’s Encephalitis (“RE”).

RE is a neurological disease that causes seizures, paralysis and cognitive decline.

DHS football players are raising money for the RE Children’s Project, a foundation founded by Grace’s father, Seth, for the primary purpose of finding a cure for this devastating disease. Please support the players and agree to donate funds for each pound they lift.

Contact any of the players or Coach Trifone (rtrifone@darienps.org) to make a donation. Checks should be made payable to the RE Children’s Project.
