FENCING
The Darien Fencing Club for Kids is in its fourth year and going strong.
With over 150 area youngsters having gone through the program, the club has also produced a fencer who has won a national tournament, just last summer.
ONE FOR ALL — Kids line up for instruction in a recent class.
And a former Beijing Olympian is coaching classes, while the popularity of the sport grows, as indicated by the numbers showing up to safely flail away with the foils.
