The Little Gym of Darien is opening its doors to the local community to tour its facility and get more information about its programs. It invites local residents to experience first hand the center’s gymnastics classes and other programs that help kids develop lifelong skills.
The free open house will be Friday, Oct. 12 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at The Little Gym of Darien, located at 4 Corbin Drive.
Currently enrolled members are more than welcome to attend. Bring us new friends and earn member milestone points and maybe even prizes.
Offering a curriculum-based core program of gymnastics as well as to promote coordination, balance, rhythm and flexibility, The Little Gym is based on a philosophy of allowing kids to experience success in a fun, caring and non-competitive way. Children’s listening, social and intellectual capacities are all enhanced in the process, as students are encouraged to progress at their own pace.
The instructors at The Little Gym of Darien encourage children to try their best during the programs at the facility. The programs are designed to introduce children to physical activity in a fun and nurturing environment.
The Little Gym also recently teamed up with Soles4Souls to collect shoes (new/used, big/small) for our new Big Hearts, Little Shoes campaign. For an entire year we will have a shoe drop-off box at The Little Gym of Darien. Bring your shoes to the Open House!
