Ben Highton and Spencer McMullin scored for the Wave while Marcus Iqbal and Fisher had an assist apiece.

“It was a great team effort,” Wave coach Jon Bradley said. “We worked hard and executed what we worked on in practice.”

Darien closes in on making states winning its fourth.

“As a coach it is a great feeling to see the boys play so well,” said Bradley. “I am so proud of them and this puts us one step closer to returning to the state tournament.

“We look forward to going to Harding on Monday and coming back 5-2.”
