‘Complete performance’ as Fisher blanks Cadets

Darien blanked St. Joseph at Trumbull on Tuesday, improving to 3-2 on the year.

Jack Fisher had the shutout making three saves, and Brennan Branca scored twice, while Jonathan Gill had the other marker.

Ben Highton had two assists and Spencer McMullin one.

“We played very well,” said Darien coach Jon Bradley. “It was our most complete performance.

“Everything clicked and as a coach I am really proud of all the boys.”

The Wave meets the Hatters next at home 4 p.m. Friday.

“We will work hard and hope we can put on the same performance against Danbury,” Bradley added.
