The Board of Education will meet tonight, Tuesday, Sept. 25 at 7:30 p.m., at 2 Renshaw Road.
On the agenda is a presentation of Reiss Fund Scholarships and discussion of “A Better Chance” program. A report on SAT, ACT, Advanced Placement, Connecticut Academic Performance test, all of which are taken in high school, and Connecticut Mastery Test scores, for grades three through eight, is expected to last for a half hour.
The Board will also discuss possible gifts from the Ox Ridge parent teacher organization, Darien’s junior football league and the Blue Wave booster club.
Richard Huot, director of finance, will present an updated financial report from the 2011-2012 school year. Huot will also speak to the possibility of using grants to replace oil tanks in the elementary schools.
The meeting is expect to last until 10 p.m.
