This week students at Darien High School will be celebrating Sprit Week, which leads up to Homecoming.
Every day has a theme, so students can dress up to show their school spirit: Monday was Pajama Day, Today is Superhero Day, Thursday is Cowgirl and Cowboy Day, and Friday is Blue and White Day. There will be a Blue Wave Pep Rally on Friday.
All of this leads up to Homecoming dance on Saturday, Sept. 29, which will be from 7 to 10 p.m. in the Main Gymnasium. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Also on Saturday, at 1:30 p.m., the Homecoming game will be against St. Joseph’s.
The Community Council, made up of students and teachers, planned all of the Spirit Week events.
The school will be closed on Wednesday, Sept. 26 for Yom Kippur.
