Ann Johnston matched the Ludlowe track record finishing first at Fairfield on Wednesday.
She ran it in 18:15, same as the Falcons’ Heather Moriarty in 2010.
Darien swept the meet to reach 6-1 on the year.
The Wave beat Ludlowe 15-43, and Bassick, Harding and Trinity all 15-50.
“Strong team performance!” said Darien coach Steve Norris. “Good races by Ann Johnston and Ellen Bauer.”
Sarah Colon was second in 19:54, third Bauer in 1958, fourth Katie Farren in 20:36, fifth Sophie Long in 20:41.
Grace Evanich got into the top 10, ninth in 22:09 for Darien.
