Selectman Dave Campbell talked about the improving economy and how it’s affected his family business, Ring’s End on CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley Friday night.
Campbell, who previously served as first selectman but ran and won a selectman seat in last year’s election to devote more time to Ring’s End, said he felt the economy started to upswing about six months ago. He also said he is opening new locations and hiring new employees as a result.
The former first selectman’s segment kicked off the evening news shortly after 6:30 with an interview on location in Darien.
