The Darien Republican Town Committee is holding its second annual fall fundraiser Saturday, Sept. 15 from 5 to 7 p.m.
Eat, drink and mingle with fellow Republicans, local and state elected officials and candidates for local, state and federal offices. This year’s event will feature guitarist Andy Aledort, who has been a significant figure in the international music scene over the last 20 years.
His unsurpassed work includes his own blues band The Groove Kings, and past performances with Buddy Guy, Dickey Betts & Great Southern, Jimi Hendrix’s Band of Gypsies, Carlos Santana, John Scofield, and the Allman Brothers band as well as many others.
