“I am looking forward to my third year coaching and hoping to continue to grow the cheerleading program here in Darien,” said Lauren Moore on the eve of the new season. “It’s very difficult with no feeder program in town, but the girls have continued to grow as a team!”
The Wave is led by seniors Ali McGarey, Izzy Lee, Kelly Manhart and Jennifer O’Neill.
Lee, Manhart and McGarey are captains.
Juniors include Andrea Tishman, Kayla Breden, Julia Rae Hodenfield, Julia Westerman, Kelly Brustman, Francesca Cara, Meredith Crafford.
Sophomores are Kristyn Breden, Rose Armstrong, Megan Whittier and Annie Trask.
Six freshman join in with roster additions of Alexis Wagoner, Christen Carnes, Katie Conn, Taylor Conrad, Victoria Pulvirenti and Savannah Chaput.
