Aquarion water company made a reverse customer service call to Darien customers Friday morning that it plans to clean the town’s water mains for six weeks beginning next week.
The cleaning will take place at night to “minimize disruption,” the call said.
Despite working at night, the customer service call said the cleaning, which will take place through the second week of October, could cause customers some water discoloration during the time period.
