At the county meet recently, diver Lizzie Fitzpatrick placed first on the 1-meter and 3-meter boards, breaking the 17U FCSL 3-M record.
She failed a big dive on 1-M — on a front two-and-a-half pike — but went on to win the event nonetheless.
