Nearly $300 in shampoo was stolen from the Post Road CVS on Thursday, July 26.
Darien Police said a man took four boxes of Kerastase Age Recharge shampoo from the hair care aisle at 1:56 p.m. He then exited the store and handed the boxes off to another man. These activities were recorded by surveillance video.
The store manager watched the thief enter a black Toyota Camry that was parked at a lot on Center Street, police said. The man is described as white, about 5 feet 6 inches tall and slightly overweight, wearing a hat, glasses, a blue T-shirt, plaid shorts and black shoes. No description of the second person could be provided, police said.
