The Darien Police arrested two more individuals for the two residential burglaries and 17 motor vehicle burglaries that happened over a June night, the department announced Monday, July 23.
Joshua Rivera, 21, of 380 Church Hill Road, Trumbull, and Qu’amere Brantley, 20, of 15 Rockridge Circle, Bridgeport, were each charged with two counts of burglary in the first degree and 17 counts of burglary in the third degree from a motor vehicle, and conspiracy. The burglaries occurred during the overnight hours of June 17 and 18.
Brantley posted a $50,000 bond and has a court date of Monday, July 30, at Stamford Superior Court. Rivera posted a $5,000 bond and has a scheduled court date of Friday, Aug. 3, in Stamford.
Additional charges were brought against the two individuals initially arrested in the incident: Nelson Rivera was also charged with 16 counts of burglary in the third degree from a motor vehicle, one count of burglary in the first degree, and conspiracy. Livelle Sampson was also charged with 17 counts of burglary in the third degree from a motor vehicle, one count of burglary in the first degree, and conspiracy.
The Darien Police Department and officers from assisting agencies have recovered stolen property from Darien, Norwalk, Wilton, Westport, Trumbull, Stratford, North Haven, Cheshire, Cromwell and Meriden.
An additional arrest is expected, according to Darien Police.
